Meeting of the Scientific Council of the magazine “Eunomia – Sustainable Development”

On November 28, 2019, a meeting of the Scientific Council of the magazine “Eunomia – Sustainable Development ” took place. The meeting of the Scientific Council was attended by the chairwoman of the Council JM Rector prof. Associate. dr hab. Eng. arch. Ewa Stachura, and members – dr hab. Jarosław Cholewa, dr hab. Piotr Olender, dr hab. Eng. Bogdan Wysogląd, doc. dr Jolanta Gabzdyl, dr Katarzyna Rybińska, Editor-in-chief mgr Piotr Mucha.

The following agenda items were discussed:

  1. The Scientific Council will present members with the result of an evaluation survey in the ICI Journals Master List 2018 database.
  2. Annex No. 1 to the Regulations of the Publishing House of the State Higher Vocational School in Racibórz; i.e. the Rules for the functioning of the Editorial Office of Magazines published by the State Higher Vocational School in Racibórz.
  3. The planned conference at the State Higher Vocational School in Racibórz on sustainable development as a subject of research in technical, humanities and social sciences.
  4. Matters concerning the Second Issue 2 (97) 2019 of the printed and electronic journal, which will be published in the fourth quarter of 2019.

It is planned to register the magazine “Eunomia – Sustainable Development” in Baz-Hum – a program for developing, digitizing and sharing the full-text content of Polish scientific journals and in the Polona digital library, administered by the National Library.

Ladies and gentlemen,

We invite you to publish in the next issue of the scientific journal Eunomia – Sustainable Development   issued by the State Higher Vocational School in Racibórz.
At the same time, we invite you to publish articles that were delivered in the form of speeches at national and international conferences. Those interested in presenting their projects and research results are encouraged to submit articles for the next issue of the journal.
The principal focus of the journal is on problems concerned with  sustainable development in the technical, humanistic and social sciences.
The next issue will be released in two versions: printed and electronic – on the website All articles approved for publication by the Editorial Office will be published free of charge in open access format.
We are currently accepting texts for the second issue of the journal Eunomia – Sustainable Development , which will be released in the second half of 2019. You are encouraged to submit your scientific, review, opinion-forming texts, messages, technical notes in Polish and English.
All articles submitted to the journal are reviewed by domestic and foreign reviewers specializing in technical sciences, humanities and social sciences

The deadline for submitting application forms with abstracts in Polish and English is 31 October.

Submission of the textual paper must be made by November 22, 2019.

Return of textual reveiws  to authors will be December 6, 2019.

Corrected texts must then be sent to the editor no later than December 13, 2019

Meeting of the scientific council of EUNOM’s magazines – sustainable development

The first meeting of the Scientific Board of the journal Eunomia – Sustainable Development took place on 30 October 2018. In attendace were PhD DSc Eng. Arch. Ewa Stachura, Prof.Ph.D. Eng. Arch. Jacek Włodarczyk, PhD DSc Eng. Bogdan Wysogląd, PhD Katarzyna Rybińska, Secretary PhD Henryk Kretek, Editor in chief and MSc Piotr Mucha. The Board elected a new editor-in-chief, PhD DSc Jarosław Cholewa. This followed a discussion on the postulate of increasing the number of members of the Scientific Council of the journal publishing plan for 2018/2019.

The functioning of the website with electronic access to the magazine was also discussed, which initiated further discourse on the implementation of the Creative Commons license in order to secure copyrights. Also the information clause for the journal was approved including the consent for the processing of personal data in accordance with the RODO.

Finally, a plan of action was agreed to create an English language website of the journal Eunomia – Sustainable Development.

EUNOMIA MAGAZINE – SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Scientific journal of the State University of Applied Sciences in Racibórz

The Eunomia scientific journal will tackle the problem of sustainable development understood as a new economic doctrine about how  to ensure the harmonious development of the economy on a global scale that does not damage the interests of future generations. The doctrine of sustainable development concerns all aspects of economy and culture.  Hence research into sustainable development is multi faceted cutting across scientific disciplines.

Sustainable development also implies deep economic, social and cultural processes. It requires redefining many existing concepts and values. Therefore, broad discussion by researchers from the various scientific disciplines on concepts, principles and phenomena associated with the concept of ​​sustainable development is extremely valuable. It is also important to include debate within the academic environment on the future shape of curricula at various levels to support the implementation of the principles of sustainability. Our magazine is ambitous in that it intends to become an important discussion forum on the principles of sustainable development, their implementation and ways of overcoming the inevitable barriers in the process of implementation. We invite colleagues, PhD scholars and students to submit their articles for  to the next issue of Eunomia magazine.
